Finnestad Ancestry

Here are two obituaries* for Ole and Mari Finnestad's great granddaughter, Bernece (Olson) Longenecker. This one is from the January 13, 1971 edition of the Atlanta Journal. I do not know the source of this second obituary. Bernece was the youngest child of Mary (Knutson) and Stephen Olson and the granddaughter of Elizabeth (Finnestad) and Ole Andreas Knutson. *Provided by Beverly Skog, great great granddaughter of Ole and Mari Finnestad.

Here is the 1930 US Census for Mari and Ole Finnestad's great granddaughter, Bernece Alma Olson. Bernece is listed as a "roomer" in the household with her future husband, William Longenecker.   Bernece was employed as a saleslady for women's wear in Chicago, Illinois.    Bernece and William would marry later that year on September 29, 1930. Bernece Alma Olson was the daughter of Mary (Knutson) and Stephen Olson and the granddaughter of Elizabeth (Finnestad) and Ole Andreas Knutson.
