Ole and Mari Finnestad's great granddaughter, Elizabeth "Penny" (Ludwig) Corson was the 4th child born to Edith (Knutson) and Charles Edward Ludwig on November 1, 1930 in Rochelle, Ogle county, Illinois. Elizabeth married Gerald Corson on May 27, 1950 in DeKalb, Illinois. Elizabeth passed away on March 28, 1971 in DeKalb. Her burial was at the Fairview Cemetery in DeKalb. The grave marker for Elizabeth and Gerald is difficult to locate as a shrub has grown over the marker. Here is a closeup of Elizabeth's engraving. Here is a closeup of Gerald's engraving. Gerald R Corson was born January 9, 1925 and died April 30, 1982. Elizabeth was the granddaughter of Elizabeth (Finnestad) and Ole Andreas 'Andrew' Knutson.
